Iowans for Oxfam and Iowa Interfaith Power and Light would like to help people prepare for winter by weatherizing 10-20 homes in the Drake neighborhood on Sunday, October 10th (see flyer).

The November Rehabbers Club meeting host, Natalie Rivera, bought her 1920 bungalow this year and has done some projects to update the look and feel of the house. Most of the functional updates were done prior to her owning the house but we'll take a look at what's still original what's been done to bring this 20th century housing staple into the 21st century.
