Free Historic Rehabilitation Workshop

11/17/2007 - 09:00
11/17/2007 - 12:30

The Des Moines Historic Preservation Commission presents.... a workshop on the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation.

All projects receiving state or federal historic tax credits must conform to the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Historic Rehabilitation. However, even if your project is not receiving tax credits, these standards also represent the "gold standard" for historic rehabilitation. Understanding the Standards can help one gain an intimate knowledge of the historic character and qualities of their home.

Location: Hoyt Sherman Place - 1501 Woodland Avenue (15th and Woodland)
Time: 9:00 am to 12:30 pm

Presented by Jack C. Porter, Preservation Consultant with the Iowa State Historic Preservation Office

RSVP by November 13 to Jason Van Essen jmvanessen@dmgov.org
