Silas Hoeppner of Prairie Foam Insulators. Silas will be discussing facts about many of the main stream insulation options facing homeowners, home buyers, & home builders today, with an emphasis on the importance of best practices/proper installation and choosing a contractor. No insulation can contribute to sustainability unless it is installed properly! He’ll also touch briefly on “less conventional” insulation methods including straw bale insulation and a new insulation being developed on the East coast.
