Elsberry Construction - Buyer Beware

Contact Information
Primary Contact:
Matt Elsberry

Elsberry Construction Services took a down payment for window installation and subsequently refused to complete the work. The owner was virtually unreachable and was very difficult to deal with - making promises to have the work done and then failing to show up. Two months after the initial contact, a refund was given.

I had used them on previous projects. When this one went sour, I went back to verify their work and found out that they installed less insulation than the contracts called for.

I cannot recommend using Elsberry Construction Services. As of March 2009, the BBB has Elsberry Construction Services graded "F".

Do not use this company. He never returns phone calls when trying to deal with him. [Note: This comment was edited by the moderator.]

Elsberry Construction - Buyer Beware

I had Elsberry Construction Services come and insulate my home. They were to make the side walls insulation a R13 and attic R44. We were charged $1500.00 for the services. When we went to have siding done about six months later, we then noticed the bad insulation job. Not one hole was covered, every other hole had insulation and one whole section of the home is not even done. I contacted Matt Elsberry, said he would be out, never showed, contacted again, said he would be there at 8:00 the following morning, never showed. Called again, told him I was taking time off work waiting for him, said he would be there in 45 minutes, never showed. Now he won't answer his phone. I also have found out through court records he is being sued by many people.
Do not do business with Elsberry Construction Services. If he corrects this matter with me, I will be sure to post it and give him the credit. But as of now this is how it stands.
