[Via the RenovateDSM e-mail group] We had Jim replace some rotten window sills for us last fall and we were so impressed with his attention to detail, we decided to ask him to bid our main bathroom. His bid was very reasonable -- about the same as what we were charged to renovate our much smaller half bathroom a few months ago. To give you an idea of the scope of work, he gutted the room down to the studs, removed the old cast iron tub and replaced it with a new jetted tub, installed new sheetrock, installed a new vent fan, laid 3x6 subway tile on the walls and a marble mosaic tile on the floor, and more. He has been willing to address any issues we've had without complaint or hard feelings. He is grouting everything today and hopefully I will soon have a functional bathroom again after 2.5 weeks. He also does kitchen remodels, hardwood floor installs, fencing, crown molding and general carpentry.

[Via the RenovateDSM e-mail group] They really take the time to find out what you want, we have beautiful new front entry steps/stoop that they designed. Also repaired some storm damage to the front of the house - the repair is perfect.
