Paper Boy Shed

Endangered Building Information
Endangered Building Address:
1510 M L King, Jr. Blvd.
Describe the current condition of the building:
Not very good.
Why is this building worth saving?:
The assessors office lists the building date as 1970, but I'm pretty sure my brothers used this when delivering papers in the late 50's. I don't know of any of the other 'huts' still existing and this is just a little bit of the 'old ways' we may want to remember.

Crap

Is this a joke? It is an old shed, get rid of it.

There can be legitimate

There can be legitimate discussion of whether a particular structure is the "highest and best use" for a piece of property. Yet that determination cannot be made solely on the physical condition of the structure alone. This is an example of why historical documentation is so important. Only so much information can be passed on in an abstract - a structure or piece of property gains so much more significance when oral histories and historical photos are attached.

Perhaps some buildings are not worth preserving. However, it is important to recognize that even an "old shed" can have personal significance to someone with childhood memories of using it.

There are two of these put

There are two of these put together to form one long garage behind my neighbors house.
